On July 4, 2026, the United States of America will mark 250 years of independence. This is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone honoring the birth of the greatest nation the world has ever known. This is extremely exciting for Don and Rhonda because we remember celebrating the Bicentennial – the 200th Anniversary of our country and it is remarkable how much has happened since then. We are finally turning a corner and the USA is coming back to what is was founded for in the first place

What Is America 250?
America 250, also known as the United States Semiquincentennial, commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, the moment a group of patriots declared that liberty was worth fighting for.
The celebration is coordinated nationally by the United States Semiquincentennial Commission, commonly referred to as America250, which was established to help educate, engage, and unite Americans around this historic milestone.
The mission is clear and timeless:
Honor our past. Celebrate our present. Inspire America’s future.
President Trump and the America 250 Vision
President Donald Trump made America 250 a national priority, calling on Americans to celebrate our founding boldly, proudly, and without apology. We could not be more excited by this. We have a President who truly loves America and only through celebrating our heritage without question, can we even hope to make an impact on the rest of the world.
All of this has happened under President Trump’s leadership:
- A White House Task Force on America 250 was established
- Federal agencies were directed to support a major national celebration
- The emphasis was placed on American exceptionalism, historical truth, and civic pride
This is not about rewriting history. It is about remembering it, honoring it, and passing it on to future generations. We are going to see through this a resurgence of Pride in America and it is something that we will be able to share with our children, making memories that will last a lifetime!

America 250 By State
America 250 is not a single event—it is a nationwide movement. Every State will begin to develop events in their own region and we want to track this as well. What is happening in your State? How can you get together with other patriots to celebrate the biggest 4th of July in History?
Here are some events that Communities across America are already planning:

- Educational programs and exhibits
- Military and veteran tributes
- Faith, family, and civic celebrations
Events will take place in towns, cities, and state capitals across the country, leading up to the historic July 4, 2026 milestone. America used to be a place where our Freedom was Celebrated in all corners of the country. We all believed in the Promise of America. This ideal has swindled over the years and it is time to get it back.
We will soon be creating a Map for America 250 by State that will link to all of the events and Celebrations across the country so you can find out what is happening near you. This page will continue to highlight official America 250 events and major national celebrations as they are announced.
Major America 250 Initiatives
There will be many more American Initiatives introduced as the year goes on, but Celebrating America means continuing to educate its citizens about why we are the Incredible Country that we are and how we came to be. When you lose history, you tend to repeat it.
Our American Story
A nationwide initiative encouraging Americans to share their personal stories, traditions, and experiences. Because history is not only written in books: it is lived by the people. Stories of Courage and Growth, Building and Change need to be passed down from generation to generation if their lessons are to be learned. This is one of those initiatives that will build into American culture the stories that will endure.
America’s Field Trip
An education-focused program connecting students with historic sites, landmarks, and civic learning opportunities to ensure the next generation understands what makes America exceptional.
These initiatives and the many more to come reflect the heart of America 250: Unity through shared history, education rooted in truth, and pride in our national identity.
